Riyadh Johnson has been studying theatre of various genres for most of her life, she has a passion for performing, directing and writing. Right now she is in her third year studying theatre. Riyadh specialises in feminism, psychology, physical movement and clowning, she likes to add humour to theatrical forms.

Rachel Lord is a 22 year old practitioner in York. She's originally from Hull and grew up being influenced by her local arts community and the work she participated in at Hull Truck Theatre. Since developing her practice at university she has become interested in autobiographical performance, storytelling and feminist theatre, as well as being influenced strongly by the work of Bryony Kimmings.

Chantelle Hubbard is a 20 year old theatre maker, practitioner and Actor originally from Sheffield. Currently in her 3rd year at York St John University, her work is focused on the relationship between the body and the mind and how you can push these to their extremities. As a mountaineer in her spare time, she uses ethnographic research to evidence her understanding of how we can push our mind and body out of a theatre space. Chantelle is increasingly interested in autobiographical performance and in many of her recent works, personal stories, experiences and events can be evidenced. Looking at the idea of risk to the body in performance she is heavily influenced by the works of various artists such as Marina Abromovic, Pina Baushe and Kira O'Reilly.

At 23, Georgie is the oldest yet shortest in the group. Georgie grew up in Harrogate and has always had a passion for theatre since her mother found her trying to cry in front of a mirror. Having performed on Harrogate Theatre's stage when she was younger, she's always wanted to be a performer.
Influenced by Antonin Artaud, Ursula Martinez and Frantic Assembly, Georgie is interested in physical theatre, autobiographical works and pushing boundaries with the audience. At 18 she became a Live events and promotions apprentice and set up musical theatre shows on cruise ships as a production assistant. Her background features set and prop design, costume and a bit of musical theatre. |
